Fall Season Celebration
at the Manetti Shrem Museum
Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art
Celebrate fall season with two powerful new exhibitions:
- “OJO” Julio César Morales: An expansive midcareer survey features the Bay Area artist’s new and recent works exploring the U.S.-Mexico border as a lived human experience. Bridging past and future to reflect on the present, Morales draws from real-life narratives, found materials and detritus of crossings to traverse the border’s geopolitical history.
- Breath(e): Toward Climate and Social Justice: This groundbreaking exhibition, organized by the Hammer Museum at UCLA, brings together works focused on climate change by artists, scientists and activists whose practices encompass photography, multimedia, large-scale sculptures, painting and more.
Featured Program
