Currently enrolled at UC Davis pursuing a PhD in musicology,
Carla Bond has a Master’s degree in musicology from Rutgers
University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. Also a performer,
she specializes in early liturgical music.
Jonathan Favero is a doctoral candidate in Music
Composition and Theory at the University of California, Davis,
and a former Mellon Public Scholars Fellow. His research
interests include music in U.S. social movements, morality in
music, and arts education in the U.S. criminal and juvenile
justice systems.
Stephen Bingen is a Research Associate in the
Department of Music and serves as the audio and video engineer
for the Pitzer Center. In this role, Stephen manages all aspects
of audio and video recording, live-streaming, sound
reinforcement, and the digitization of archives for the
department. He also offers support and guidance for student and
faculty research projects in music composition.
