The Design Museum exhibitions change each quarter. The museum, in
the Department of Design at UC Davis, also highlights
undergraduate and graduate student work during spring quarter of
each year. Photographs and exhibition statements about earlier
shows are available by clicking on the years to the left.
The UC Davis Design Museum opens its 2026-2027 season with
Connecting Threads (together): Textile Works by Lynn
Setterington which opens on Sept. 29 and runs through Nov.
20.
Collaboration is at the heart of textile making and this idea is
explored in a display of work by UK based artist Setterington.
Through textiles the artist challenges contemporary issues in
society and how stitch can be used to commemorate people and
communities.
Cruess Collective is the 2025 undergraduate
exhibition highlighting the versatility and creativity of
the Department of Design, as shown through the outstanding course
work produced over the past year by senior undergraduate
students.
