Ileana Oseguera is a first-generation Latina who
has worked to promote education for over ten years. During this
time, she had the pleasure to work with a diverse group of
individuals in college counseling, recruitment, and teaching,
particularly first-generation and low-income students. She holds
a bachelor’s of arts degree from UC Davis in international
relations and a double major in Spanish. She also has a master’s
of science degree in school counseling from California State
University, Sacramento.
As an Academic Advisor her goal is to guide students in their
journey to academic success and life while at UC Davis. In
her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, working out,
and spending time with her two fur babies, Coco and
Oli.

Barbara Olivier is one of the undergraduate program coordinators
and academic advisor in the Arts Group Advising Center. Her
previous work experience has been extensive in the public and
private sector with a vast range of administrative and clerical
duties and responsibilities, which has led her to UC Davis. She
has held various positions within the University, beginning as a
senior secretary in the temp pool and had led her to begin her
career in advising in 2002. Barbara has held positions in
Political Science/International Relations, as well as Languages
and Literatures, before accepting a position with the Music
Department. Her main focus is assisting undergraduates with their
academic and future career goals.
L. M. Bogad is an author, performance artist/activist,
educator, Director of the Center for Tactical Performance,
and co-founder of the Clown Army. He has performed across the
United States, Europe, and South America, from SF MOMA, the
Whitney Museum, Yerba Buena Arts Center, and the Mattress Factory
to occupied zones and a squatted military base in Barcelona.

Margaret Laurena Kemp has appeared on regional

(Antibes, France), and The Magnet Theatre (Cape Town, South

Jon D. Rossini is Associate Professor in the Department of
Theatre and Dance at UC Davis where he teaches courses in Theatre
and Dance History, Ethnicity/Race in Performance, Performance

Maggie Morgan is a costume designer for stage and screen. Her
recent work includes a Broadway musical, feature and short films,
and several productions at California theaters.
History of Rhetoric and PerformancePh.D. Adviser, Theatre and Dance
Lynette Hunter, Professor of the History of Rhetoric and
Performance, has written and edited over 30 books and many essays
in a range of disciplines from the history of rhetoric and
literature, to philosophy and feminist theory, to post /
neo-colonial / decolonical studies (especially in Canada), to the
history of science and computing, to women’s history and gender
studies (from the early modern period), to performance studies,
and alternative embodiments.
