The Photography Lab is located in room 51 of the Art Building
(basement floor).
The photo lab allows both undergraduate and graduate students the
opportunity to develop photographic technique, form, and theory.
The facility includes a lecture room, a chemistry processing
room, five individual enlarger rooms, and mounting/finishing
rooms. The photo lab is also equipped with color photo enlargers
used for both black/white and color printing, and a 56 Colex
color processor for large format printing.
Students are encouraged to purchase their own equipment; however,
if they are unable to do so, we offer equipment such as
studio/portable strobe/hot light kits, Digital SLR cameras,
medium and large format cameras, heat presses, and mat board
cutters for student use.
For more information on the lab, please contact the lab
technician, Jesse
Vasquez.
