Peer Advisors are currently enrolled students in our majors. They
can help students with questions regarding courses and
scheduling, filling out petitions, getting involved on-campus,
on-campus resources. During the academic year, Peer Advisors are
available daily for drop-in advising at the Arts Group Advising
Center and other locations.
Estevan Romero is a third year double major in Music
Performance and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has played
the flute for 10 years and has studied under Maki Kuper and
Stacey Pelinka. He has performed with the UC Davis Symphony
Orchestra, UC Davis Concert Band, Santa Rosa Symphony Youth
Orchestra, Sacramento Youth Symphony, Symphony d’Oro Rancho
Cordova, and various chamber ensembles. He also enjoys nature,
good food, and being a flute camp counselor during the summer.
Megan Gürer is a fourth year student studying composition
and vocal performance. She transferred to UC Davis in the fall of
2022. When she is not writing or performing music, she enjoys
baking, embroidery, and spending time with family and
friends.
