Pedro Ortiz is an architect passionate about using design & architecture to promote social justice, tackle inequality, and address urgent socio-environmental issues such as climate change and the affordable housing crisis.
At the UC Davis Department of Design, Pedro is pursuing a master’s degree in fine arts, with a focus on Interior Architecture. Pedro is currently working on a research project about environmental justice and its impact on the affordable housing crisis in the presence of climate change. He is also developing a severe climate-resilient housing unit prototype for his home country, Paraguay.
