Jodi Connelly

Jodi Connelly comes from the East Coast where she worked developing arts programming for inner city youth in Brooklyn and Queens, NY. Her work explores the body in relationship to the natural world through photography, sculpture and meditative environmental interventions. She was the visual artist for the performance Paraiso at Five Myles Gallery in BK, NY and a recipient of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts Grant for her project “Hive.” She also received the Kira Fournier Memorial Scholarship for Sculpture at Brandeis University and has been awarded residencies at Cill Railaig in Ireland, Vermont Studio Center, Mud/Bone Studios in the Bronx, NY and Penland in North Carolina.
