ART BUILDING KEY CARDS
Information for Instructors

Art studio class instructors will receive cards for their classes in the second week of each quarter, automatically (there is no need to submit a request).

Please distribute the Art Building Key Cards to your students for after-hours and weekend access. Please note that students enrolled in multiple Art classes will only receive one Key Card. If you have a student that does not receive a Key Card from you, please refer to the master list to check to which class that student’s Key Card has been assigned. If the student does not appear on the list, they can report to Art 101 to request a card (these cards are issued only once a week, not on demand).

Key Cards from previous terms have been deactivated and should be returned to the metal box next to the east entrance to the Art Building. Different cards are issued each term. Please remind your students that even if they are enrolled in Art classes for the next term, they still need to return their old cards as they will NOT be reactivated. We do reprogram and reissue the Key Cards so it is important that you collect them at the end of the quarter. This helps the Art Department lower the expense of purchasing new cards, and helps us comply with university policy. See Key/Access Card policy and procedures (PPM 360-50)
