The 107^th Picnic Day at UC Davis will be a virtual event this year and, as in past years, the arts will be there. Music, design and cinema and digital media will be represented in the celebration.

One of the most popular events every year is the Fashion and Design Society’s (FADS) annual fashion show. This year’s theme Uncharted reflects how the students in the Department of Design’s Signature Collections course has risen to the challenge of creating not only the fashions but also the production values of displaying their garments.

The Department of Music has long played a role in the Picnic Day festivities. This year the department showcases its diverse sounds, course offerings and programming in a video that includes music and interviews with faculty and students.

Students from the Department of Cinema and Digital Media have assembled a mini-version of their annual Film Fest at UC Davis. Their event includes three complete short films from last year which was held online due to the pandemic.
