Chris McCaw was part of punk and skateboarding scene in Daly City, California, during the ’80s and ‘90s and brought the DIY ethos of that world to his photography. Over the ensuing decades McCaw has used photographic materials, especially expired gelatin silver paper, in groundbreaking ways.
