Joyce Nojima

Joyce Nojima is a second-generation Japanese American born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. She finds herself drawn to repetitive mark-making in search of a visual experience and self-identity. She was awarded a Graduate Fellowship at the Headlands Center for the Arts for 2014-2015.

Two graduates of the Art Studio MFA program will show their work this spring in exhibitions at the Headlands Center for the Arts, in Marin County.

May Wilson is currently a lecturer in Art Studio, and also an affiliated artist at the Headlands Center. She will show her work in their Spring Open House on April 19.
