Think about one of your favorite projects that you’ve
worked on.
Canadian Government. Designer for the public spaces and
coordinating all of the casework for the job. The team and
the client relationship was very collaborative. The
experience of working in metric and with my Toronto colleagues at
Stantec.
What led you to become a design educator?
The enjoyment that I get sharing my knowledge and excitement for
design.
If you could teach any course, what would it
be?
The interior and furniture design classes.
What do you think is the most difficult challenge
designers struggle with?
Listening to the client about their problems and needs for a
design project.
What do you think is the most pressing problem designers
should be addressing today?
Taking ego out of the design process and working in a
collaborative environment.
