Prof. John Iacovelli Wins LADCC Award

UC Davis Department of Theatre & Dance Professor John Iacovelli has won the 44th Annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for his set for “Waiting for Godot” at the Mark Taper Forum.

The LADCC covers all the productions in the 222 cities of LA County, Orange County, San Diego and Santa Barbara. There were over 3,000 productions in this competition.

Professor Iacovelli has designed more than 200 productions at theaters across the nation, including the critically acclaimed, TONY-nominated Broadway revival of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded Iacovelli the coveted 2001 prime-time Emmy Award for his art direction of the A&E broadcast of Peter Pan. He also designed The Twilight of The Godson Broadway.
