examination of 3000 years of Chinese art and culture from
Neolithic through Tang Dynasty (10th c. CE). Study of
ceremonial and secular objects manifesting folk beliefs and
belief systems of ancestor worship, Buddhism, Daoism, and
Confucianism. Offered in alternate years.
