So that we may observe physical distancing for the protection
of our singers and our community at large, the three choral
ensembles will be joining together for the fall quarter to
create a few virtual choral projects. Singers will receive
sheet music and/or practice recordings electronically, and they
will send in recordings of themselves singing their part. These
recordings will then be compiled and edited to create a
composite recording with all of our voices. Chorus members will
continue to receive instructional videos from the director,
Caleb Lewis, as they did in the spring quarter.
* Any singer who has been a member of a UC Davis choral
ensemble since Fall 2019 may register without auditioning.
New members may audition by submitting the
following materials to Caleb Lewis via cjlewis@ucdavis.edu:
A YouTube link of themselves singing a short song that shows
off their voice at its best. This can be with instrumental
accompaniment or without.
A short description of their musical training and experience
(formal musical training is not necessarily required).
