Michael Goldberg, guitar, is currently playing solo and chamber recitals throughout the United States. He has toured as part of the Alma Duo, an ensemble of violin/viola and guitar, and is also a longtime member of the Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, a group devoted to contemporary music performance. He has recorded on the Arabesque and Kameleon labels. He has been featured with the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, Philharmonia Baroque, Santa Rosa Symphony, Festival Opera, Berkeley Symphony, Composers, Inc., Empyrean Ensemble, San Francisco Girls’ Chorus, Diablo Valley Ballet, and many other Bay Area groups. Goldberg teaches at UC Berkeley, UC Davis, the California Jazz Conservatory, and maintains a private teaching practice in Berkeley. He received his Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
