Rising Stars of Korean Studies
Katherine In-Young Lee is invited to participate in a workshop at this year’s mentoring conference on Korean Studies, held at USC October 10-11, 2014.
She will take part in the Sixth Annual Rising Stars of Korean Studies Junior Faculty Mentoring Workshop. The USC Korean Studies Institute and UCLA Center for Korean Studies host an annual mentoring conference for young scholars whose work involves Korean studies. This workshop, now in its 6th year, brings together the next generation of Korean studies scholars in either postdoctoral or assistant professor positions, along with senior scholars in the discipline. The intention is to link this new generation with each other, provide feedback on their work from senior scholars, and in particular mentor these younger scholars through the tenure process.
