UC Davis graduate student in music Aida Shirazi will have a composition performed at New York’s Lincoln Center in the Mostly Mozart series on August 5. The International Contemporary Ensemble performs the music of Shirazi, Anahita Abbasi, and Niloufar Nourbakhsh from the Iranian Female Composers Association.

This concert will be preceded by a mini-documentary about the composers and will take place in the Bruno Walter Auditorium which is part of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The free program begins at 7 p.m.
