Zoë A. Wallace
Zoë A. Wallace (b. 1994) is a composer and guitarist currently based in Northern California. She has performed in concerts throughout the country and has had pieces performed and/or recorded by such performers as PinkNoise Ensemble, Wendy Richman, KAIA String Quartet, Confluss Duo, Splinter Reeds, Nick May, Nicholas Tolle, and the Alena Walentin and Niklas Johansen duo. In 2024 and 2022, Zoë was a recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award. Her music has been featured in festivals such as the Hot Air Music Festival, New Music on the Point, the Korean International School of the Arts Composer Festival, and the 21st Century Guitar Conference. Zoë received her Master’s degree in classical guitar with Denis Azabagic and her Bachelor’s degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Sergio Assad. She has studied composition with Ryan Brown, Marc Mellits, Linda Catlin Smith, Mika Pelo, and Laurie San Martin. Zoë is currently studying at UC Davis with Pablo Ortiz while she purses a doctorate in music composition and theory.
