Lisa Cheung is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in Music. This is her second season with the UCDSO. Her orchestral performance experience began with the Peninsula Youth Orchestra and the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra; both reside in the bay area. She began piano at the age of six, and then abruptly switched to violin based on her parents’ decision two years later.

Since then, she believes it was one of the best choices her parents chose for her: she was able to tour Eastern Europe, met and performed with some world-renowned soloists, and of course, meeting some of the most amazing people in her life.
