Boris Allenou is a French independent electronic musician and sound artist working and living between Paris, France and Davis, California. As an improviser, sound hacker, instrument builder, and eternal dreamer, his work and research take place at the crossroads of experimentation, sound ecology (creation of acoustic or electronic ecosystems), multimedia and innovative Lutherie (the craft of making instruments). His goal is to propose creative experiences by exploring new ways of listening and making music that involves the audience and the soundscapes. His research draws attention to the importance of sounds in our everyday lives.
