The Jazz Bands of UC Davis offers a diverse program of Jazz funk and Latin tunes.
The Davis Blue Big Band will perform “Footprints” by Wayne Shorter, arranged by Mike Tomaro; “Boplicity” by Miles Davis, arranged by Mike Tomaro; “Persevere” by Mike Tomaro and “Mambo De Memo” by Matt Harris
The Davis Green Big Band will perform “Blues in Hoss’ Flat” by Count Basie, arranged by Frank Foster; “There’s the Rub” by Gordon Goodwin, “Take the ‘A’ Train” by Billy Strayhorn, arranged by Rich Derosa, “A Time For Love” by Johnny Mandel, arranged by Hank Levy.
