Nicole Tanner is a junior at UC Davis. She joined the symphony orchestra at the beginning of last year and enjoys her time playing in it immensely. Before now, she has had no orchestral experience, but plenty of band experience. Nicole began playing in a concert band when she was a freshman in high school, and joined many different styles of bands and ensembles thereafter. These styles included jazz and funk bands, Christmas caroling bands, and marching bands, but her school was not large enough for a symphony.

She can not think of a better organization in which to play, and she is thrilled to be playing in the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra again this year.
