Virtual auditions will be held for “Food,” the winter quarter production, on Dec. 1 and 2 at  5-7 p.m. The performance will be directed by Geoff Sobelle, Granada Artist-in-Residence.  

For this audition, the student is asked to prepare based on the director’s statement. 

“The world, and we, are hungry… but for what?,” said Sobelle. “Please FEED us! Create a recipe – (what are the ingredients? The steps? The method?) – for something that you think we may need … something that will nourish us, that will satisfy us, that will heal us, that will keep us safe.  Please feel free to interpret this prompt however you see fit.”

These auditions will be informal “workshop” style auditions, and will meet as a group. The students should come prepared to move. Auditions are open to all UC Davis students. 

Please sign up to audition, so we can capture your information. Ignore the language regarding “volunteer sign up.” We use a program that allows us to capture your email address. We will send a link to the virtual auditions on Nov. 30.
