Tsákuu Yìì Va Ndyi (Seguimos Vivos): Language Revitalization through Hip Hop

This talk brings three scholars: one Quechua, one Yucateca-Maya, and an Esselen/Ohlone (Native Californian) who work on language revitalization and a California-based Mixtec Hiphop artist/performer and his DJ Una Isu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzUyQ7wlUf4  to close the event. The four of them will participate in a round table conversation and Professor Charlie Hankin, author of award-winning book on Hip-hop/rap in the Americas, will offer commentary.
