UC Davis Alumni and Staff Participate in One Act Play Festival in Sacramento
Several UC Davis alumni and staff members are working in various capacities on Sacramento’s Big Idea Theatre’s One-Act Play Festival. The three-week festival begins Jan. 25.
Kevin Adamski (B.A., dramatic art, ‘13) is directing The Graveyard Shift which has been written by Thomas Dean, a business assistant for the arts departments, who is also appearing in the festival’s The Fall. The Graveyard Shift’s cast includes Greg Watry, a content strategist and writer for the College of Letters and Science. Adamski is also UC Davis Staff and works for the division of Languages and Literatures.
Leah Daugherty (B.A., dramatic art, ‘16) directs Odd Songs for Odd Birds. At UC Davis she is the California Lighting Technology Center finance specialist.
Jennifer Adler (B.A., music and dramatic art, ‘10) directs The Method.
Big Idea’s mission is to employ a team of artists to produce passion-fueled theatre which provides an enriching experience for the people working on it and for our audiences. The theatre’s team creates opportunities to pass on skills and talent to an ever-developing group of professionals, beginners, enthusiasts, or everyone in between.
