Submissions are now open for new works by student filmmakers for Film Fest @ UC Davis 2017. Celebrating its 17th year, the committee is seeking short films no longer than eight minutes in length (including credits) by April 21. Entries are open to all UC Davis students and recent graduates.
The festival will be held May 17 and 18 at the historic Varsity Theatre in Davis and screenings will begin at 9:30 p.m.
The festival will showcase an array of short student-produced films. Filmmakers include a wide range of undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of disciplines across the campus and their films represent all genres and styles, from narrative to documentary to experimental.
The festival is co-produced by the Art and Art History, Cinema and Digital Media, Design, Music and Theatre and Dance departments.
