One of UC Davis’s highest priorities is the safety of its students and all members of its community. Advanced students in Art Studio wanting a space to work on art projects may apply quarterly for one of 6 designated studio spaces on the 2nd floor of the Art Building. Applicants must be committed to working independently throughout the quarter. Students working in all media are encouraged to apply, with the understanding that any large-scale fabrication needs by met in the appropriate shop settings. Priority is given to seniors.
To apply please submit up to 10 images of past work, a slide list, and an artist’s statement indicating:
What you intend to accomplish (what media you will use, any special requests)
Your expected graduation date (i.e. Summer 2017, Fall 2018, Spring 2019)
Art Studio courses you have completed (i.e. ART 002, ART 101…)
Art Studio courses you are currently enrolled in
All application materials must be submitted via Dropbox to Pamela Pretell, firstname.lastname@example.org, during the application period. Dates for submission are listed below.
