Victoria worked as a freelance Designer/Illustrator and Interpretive Educator with various non-profit organizations, including East Bay Regional Park District and the National Park Service, designing interpretive materials and exhibits. She recently completed work on the Jr. Ranger program for Eugene O’Neill National Historic Site. Her current research is focused on exploring the connections between science and design, utilizing data visualization through interactive exhibits.

Megan fell in love with the art of machine knitting while earning her undergraduate degree. Since receiving her B.S., Megan has worked in the luxury and contemporary womenswear market as a hand knitter and sweater designer. Her passion for surfing, skiing and rock climbing has led her current research to the intersection of functional apparel and knitwear design.
B.E. Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology, India (2015)
Nikitaa Sivaakumar recently graduated with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, India. As part of her undergraduate internship, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Structural design, TU Braunschweig, Germany where she was involved in the structural design and optimisation of Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete structural members using Rhinoceros 3D.
B.A. Design, University of California, Davis (2009)
After receiving her Bachelor’s in Design, Tieni worked in Los Angeles and the Bay Area designing trade show exhibits, along with residential interior and consumer products. She also worked in other roles such as editor-in-chief for monthly publications and as event coordinator for a high-tech association events, which hosts over 1,000 attendees held in the Silicon Valley. Her research focuses on generalizing design guidelines for shelf display lighting by targeting high color and energy efficiency. One of her most recent projects included the development of a lighting kit to assist college professors with their instructions.
