SIGN UP FOR SEPT. 26 AUDITIONS

The Department of Theatre and Dance will hold auditions for a vocalist/performer for the role of Amiens in the fall quarter production of As You Like It. The auditions will be held Sept. 26 in the Arena Theatre, Wright Hall, 6:30-8 p.m.

Open to all UC Davis students, the casting for this role is not gender specific but the creative team is looking for someone who can sing. Please sign up for an audition slot at the link above.   

• You have a maximum of 5 minutes of audition time. You should prepare a maximum of three minutes of material. This will give us some time to speak with you.
• Please prepare one classic monologue or poem and one song – a contemporary rock/pop song is preferred (12 bars is sufficient-acapella)
• If you have no memorized material, please read a poem of your choice (the poem can be self-penned). Please don’t rush to memorize something. It’s better to read something you care about.

Performances are Nov. 16, 17, 18, 30 and Dec. 1 & 2 in the Main Theatre, Wright Hall.
