The faculty of the Art Studio program at UC Davis are collecting short video clips of people wishing Wayne Thiebaud a very happy 100th birthday! The short clips will be used to create a compilation video that will be publicly shared to honor the centennial milestone of this extraordinary artist and living legend. Whether you know Wayne personally, had the pleasure of being one of his students, and/or have been simply inspired by his magnificent paintings, we welcome you to upload your own personal Happy Birthday clip! His 100th is on November 15th, so let’s keep this a surprise until then. Shhhh…. 

Instructions: Please record your birthday wishes (5 second maximum) by placing your camera or phone in a horizontal position. Preferably resolution should be 1080p, but if you don’t know what that is, don’t let it stop you. If you are alumni, please include your graduation year when submitting. Upload your video clip here.

Submission deadline: October 15, 2020. 

While we will try to include all submissions, uploads will be compiled by the editor’s discretion.
