Andrea Harris Jordan is an ethnomusicologist with a primary research focus on intellectual histories of traditional music in Ireland with secondary interests in soundscapes of rural Japan. Further areas of interest include archival research as a methodology for ethnomusicology, and musics of Europe and the Middle East. She is a lecturer in music at UC Davis and lives in the foothills of Northern California.
