These back-to-back pieces are thesis presentations by graduating MFA candidates.
Award-winning San Francisco choreographer Jess Curtis presents a section from a new work, Dances for Non-Fictional Bodies, created in collaboration with an international team of multidisciplinary performers and renowned performance artist Guillermo Gomez-Peña as a dramaturgical collaborator. Nina Galin’s Jointedness is a new music-dance-theater work that explores different senses of “joint”: point of clear articulation in a body; meeting place; collaboration.
Talkbacks with the choreographers and performers will be held after both Saturday performances, February 13 & 20.
