Ladan is a multidisciplinary artist-designer focusing on
architecture and sculpture. Her work explores the relationship
between humans and spaces.
As an Architect, she has an understanding of the function of
spaces, as well as materials and an eye for the aesthetics of
forms and shapes.
She began her work as a sculptor in 2017, and she has since
exhibited her pieces in several exhibitions. She utilizes a
variety of materials, tools, and techniques in her work,
including bronze, ceramics, and other mixed media.
Dongqi Mo, a UCD Design graduate student, boasts 3 years of UI/UX
and 4 years of graphic design experience. His projects include
brand designs for Southern Utah University and Russell
Properties, and web page/social media designs. Fluent in English,
Mandarin, and Cantonese, his international background allows him
to effectively integrate cultural design differences. In 2022, he
contributed to an app redesign for the UCD Transportation Service
Department to optimize scheduling. Dongqi thrives on
interdisciplinary collaboration to diversify his designs.

Pedro Ortiz is an architect passionate about using design &
architecture to promote social justice, tackle inequality, and
address urgent socio-environmental issues such as climate change
and the affordable housing crisis.

Maral Salehian is an interdisciplinary designer with a background
in industrial design. In 2018, she graduated top of her class
from the University of Art, Tehran. Her design practice in
conceptual and formal inventiveness matured and converged in
furniture design. In 2019, she attended the University of Tehran,
where she studied M.A. in industrial design. During her study,
she gained a deep understanding of design principles,
methodology, and philosophy. She began working as a furniture
designer.

Satomi is an interdisciplinary designer with professional
experience in graphic and UX design. Her graduate research
centers on AI integration in creative applications and front-end
web development. Satomi is the recipient of the Keller Pathway
Fellowship for 2023/24.
