Morissa Rubin is a graphic designer and adjunct lecturer in the UC Davis Department of Design. The courses she teaches include Letterforms and Typography (DES 115), Visual Communication: Graphic Design Studio (DES 116), and Design for Understanding (DES 159).

Her work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Sacramento Advertising Club, the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and Graphic Design USA. Her first picture book as an author/illustrator, Dot, Dot, Polka Dot was published in 2021 by POW! Kids Books and distributed by Simon and Schuster.

She received her BFA in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design and her MS from MIT for work done at the Visible Language Workshop.
