Nicole Laguerta

Nicole is a designer whose work explores play, interaction, and audience engagement through digital media and physical experiences. Her practice is driven by curiosity about how design can create connection, invite participation, and encourage new ways of playing. Her work spans game design, exhibition design, interactive installations, and multimedia projects. She co-developed the alt ctrl game Ankle Chomper, which has been exhibited at Open Sauce, MAGWest, and Maker Faire and continues to evolve through public playtesting. As an MFA student, her current work focuses on embodied play through alternative controllers.
