Professor Beatriz Cortez and Rafa Esparza’s two-person exhibition La Rebelion de los Objetos (The Rebellion of the Objects) opened at Museo Anahuacalli in Mexico City on Feb. 3. Built by Diego Rivera and Juan O’Gorman, the museum was designed to house Rivera’s studio and his collection of over 40,000 ancient objects. The exhibition was curated by Karla Niño and includes a video work by Professor Cortez that was produced with Dean’s research venture funds that was made possible by the Maria Manetti Shrem endowment.
