“Future Dreaming, A Path Forward” is a new exhibition at the Montalvo Arts Center featuring fanciful and compelling art that invites viewers to imagine futures built upon the ancestral wisdom of multiple Indigenous heritages. Featured artists include Professor Beatriz Cortez and Ana Teresa Fernández, Rayos Magos, and Marie Watt and all present newly commissioned and existing works throughout the grounds of Montalvo to help celebrate the unveiling of A Path Forward: Honoring Ohlone Land & Spirit, a permanent living monument for the arts center’s public park lands.

“Future Dreaming, A Path Forward” is on view from July 19–Nov. 10, 2024.
