A quartet of UC Davis theatre and dance alumni are working together on the River Stage at Cosumnes River College’s production of Electra. Directed by Janey Pintar (MFA, dramatic arts, ‘22), the production opens on Oct. 13.  

Collaborating with Pintar are production manager Martin Flynn (MFA, dramatic arts, ‘07) who is chair of Cosumnes River College Theatre and Dance Department, costume designer Mari Carson (MFA, dramatic arts, ‘16) and lighting, sound and projection designer Cary Babka (BA, theatre and dance, ‘07). 

A futuristic twist meets Sophocles’ classic tragedy, Electra’s honor is tested as she seeks justice for the murder of her father at the hands of her mother.
