Alum in residence at Pallas Gallery
Kelley O’Leary (M.F.A., ‘22) will be an artist in residence at Pallas Gallery, San Francisco for the month of February. Her show, “Slow Connection,” is an evolving site-specific installation that investigates the invisible infrastructure and frequencies of telecommunications in post-internet San Francisco. Kelley is collaborating and sharing the residency with artists Tino Gonzales and Brian Bartz on this project. A closing reception will take place on March 4, 2023 with a live sound performance.
Imaginaries of the Future Collective, a zine made in collaboration with members of the collective of the same name, will accompany the show. Additionally, the zine was printed on risographby alum Zach Clark (M.F.A., ‘16) and his National Monument Press.
In addition to “Slow Connection,” O’Leary is showing work at the San Jose Community College in the group show “Plus One” on display from Feb. 7-March 20.
