Position Description

The Department of Design announces a temporary lecturer position to teach a section of DES 144, during Spring 2026 quarter

DES 144: Thematic survey of interior architecture. Emphasis on dwellings in their cultural settings and development of modern interior design theories. Interiors considered in relation to buildings’ exteriors, sites, and uses.

Appointment Dates:
Spring Quarter: March 26th – June 11, 2026

Qualifications:
Appropriate professional degree (e.g., terminal degree such as PhD, MFA, or MArch; or other relevant graduate degree such as MDes and MA), or equivalent training and professional experience.
