Professor McNeil Named a Top 50 Museum Influencer
Blooloop

The online publication Blooloop named Professor Tim McNeil among the top 50 museum influencers for 2023. McNeil recently published The Exhibition and Experience Design Handbook, and also was the principal designer of the recent exhibition, “Deborah Butterfield: P.S. These are not horses” at the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum.

In increasingly turbulent times, the world’s museums, science centres, art galleries and cultural institutions play an ever more vital role in engaging visitors with today’s key issues from climate change to politics. As trust in the media, politicians and government organisations erodes, museums remain a bastion of society’s knowledge and creativity in a post-truth world.

— Blueloop Editors

Blooloop is an online publication which highlights the “latest news and trends across the industry worldwide – from theme parks to zoos and aquariums, water parks, museums and FECs.”
