Alumna Contributes to Afrofuturistic Anthology

Alumna Raissa Simpson (M.F.A, dramatic arts, ‘16) has written Writings on Dance: Artistic Reframing for Celestial Black Bodies which has been included in the Afrofurturistic anthology Critical Black Futures: Speculative Theories and Explorations. 

In addition, a dance video by Simpson is included in the 2021 Sacramento State University’s Festival of the Arts’ Dance Sampler on April 10, 16 and 18.
