“Bespokeology” is Julia Couzens’ (MFA, ‘90) latest show with
Patricia Sweetow Gallery featuring her stitched, bundled, patched
and layered textile works.
Telematic’s new
show “Diagenesis” features the work of two artists, Brian Bartz
and alum Kelley O’Leary (M.F.A. ‘22) who examine the impact
of extractive technology on the environment and landscape.
Alum Seongmin Yoo’s (MFA ‘ 24) newest exhibition show
“Seongmin Yoo: Pulses of Experience” explores the intense
physiological moment of attentive immobility, a reaction that
premeditates a fight or flight response. Pulses of Experience
functions as a metaphor for contemporary life.
The free public opening features performances by master’s and
doctoral students, as well as the presentation of the LeShelle
and Gary May Art Purchase Prize, the Keister and Allen Art
Purchase Prize, the Letters and Science Prize, and the Savageau
Award in the Department of Design.
