Hyemi received her B.S. in Design and B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California, Davis and received her M.Arch from the University of Pennsylvania. She also studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London as part of a graduate research studio. Her work has been exhibited in the Egyptian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2016. Hyemi has teaching experience from University of Pennsylvania and work experience from SOM and Gensler. Her notable projects include the Waldorf Astoria New York, Moynihan Train Hall, and JPMC HQ3.
