Hyemi received her B.S. in Interior Architecture and B.A. in Art Studio from the University of California, Davis and received her M.Arch from the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. She also studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London as part of a graduate research studio. Her work has been exhibited in the Egyptian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2016. Hyemi has teaching experience from University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design and work experience from SOM and Gensler. Her notable projects include the Waldorf Astoria in New York, Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station in New York, and JPMC Headquarters in New York.
