Early each December a new crew of emerging designers wraps up their work in our “Intro to Design” course, DES 001 and presents demonstrations of their designs to the public in an event we’ve named (lovingly) “Chaos in the Courtyard.” Professors James Housefield and Katia Vega invite you to join us in the courtyard south of Cruess Hall at UC Davis on Thursday, December 4 from 9-10:20 am to hear pitches and see prototypes from teams who designed in response to real world opportunities, problems, expectations, and needs. If it’s inclement weather we’ll move into the Pitzer Center at UC Davis.
