Studio—4 hours; lecture/discussion—2 hours. Prerequisite: DES 1, 14 (or 21), 15, 16, 77, (107 or 177) or consent of instructor. Priority to Design majors. Advanced exploration of fashion design with an emphasis on professional portfolio development and presentation. Emphasis on conceptualizing, designing, and fabricating a cohesive line of wearable garments suitable for presenting in a public fashion show. Not open for credit to students who have taken more than 8 units of course 191A. May be repeated one time for credit.
