While at UC Davis, Alberini Family Speaker Series in Design guest lecturer Jacinda Walker held a workshop at Inderkum High School in Sacramento. Walker, whose research focuses on diversity and education within the discipline of design, met with students to discuss design careers and to perform an exercise on creating a SMART (Specific/Measurable/Achievable/Relevant/Time-based) goal.

The workshop was coordinated with the help of the Early Academic Outreach Program.
