Beth Ferguson and Gozde Goncu-Berk, assistant professors of design, have been awarded Hellman Fellowships by UC Davis. The fellowships provide research funding to faculty members when they need it the most: early in their careers. 

Ferguson was awarded her fellowship for her Adapting the City Lab project Environmental Design for Micromobility and Public Transit, while Goncu-Berk received hers for WearLab project CalmWear: Sensory Smart Clothing.
